Description

The mb-339 trainer is a trainer/strike aircraft developed for the Italian air force by Italy's maki aircraft company to replace the mb.326 and g.91t trainers for intermediate and advanced training missions.
A Rolls-Royce "wipel" mk680-43 turbojet engine with a rated thrust of 19.57 kilojoules.
The main types of mb.339 are: mb.339a, a two-seater tandem trainer/attack aircraft, two prototypes were built, which were first flown in August 1976 and May 1977 respectively. The first production mb.339a flew in July 1978 and was delivered in August 1979, serving as a full range jet trainer in the Italian air force. The production of mb.339a totaled more than 160 aircraft, which was discontinued in 1987. The main customers were Italy, Argentina, Peru, Malaysia and Nigeria, which ordered 105 aircraft, 10 aircraft, 16 aircraft, 13 aircraft and 12 aircraft respectively. MB.339B advanced jet trainer。
